Hello Peeps!

Hope your holiday season was a great one.  Now that 2014 is off and running, it’s time to kick-off this year’s wedding season, and here are some trends you may see at various ceremonies over the spring and summer:

Radiant Orchid: Since 2014’s ‘It’ color has been announced, it’s pretty much a guarantee that many brides will include it in their wedding day look, whether they are wearing it, carrying it in their bouquet, or using it as an accent color at their reception.

Tea: Be it cold or hot, this beverage is not just a fave of our friends across the pond.  Although it’s never been out of style, it’s popularity has grown in recent years and many predict that it will reach an all-time high in 2014.  A traditional english tea setting is a great inspiration for a spring wedding.

Ethnic cuisine: Jewish and Asian cuisine will experience a resurgence in popularity among the masses this year according to some experts.

Dessert fusions: It started with the cronut.  The cross-blending of popular desserts will continue to make mouths water in 2014.  Daring brides who wish to incorporate this trend into their reception can do so with their wedding cake.

These are just a few of the many trends to come over the next several months.  If you are a bride-to-be who enjoys following the latest and greatest, think about including one of them as part of your wedding day celebration this season.
