Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I don’t know about you, but at this time of year it seems as if someone decides to set the stopwatch of life on, ‘Go!’ and doesn’t stop it until January 2nd.   I’ve just returned from a wonderful time in NYC where I enjoyed the many 2015 bridal fashions on preview during NY Bridal Market, and my schedule doesn’t seem to be slowing down.   Plus, if you’re busy like me (which I’m sure you are) you’re probably concerned that the holiday season is right around the corner, and will catch you unprepared.  It’s hard to believe that the Thanksgiving holiday (here in the U.S.) is only a little over five weeks away.   Weren’t we just wearing sandals and beach hats?

Thanksgiving

Nevertheless, if you are looking for a way to celebrate the holidays in a cost-effective and time-friendly manner, try a tapas-style Thanksgiving!  Of course, this may be a little too avant-garde for most folks as nothing beats the traditional meal.  However, for the young hipster hosting friends or an employer hosting an in-office, pre-Thanksgiving celebration, a tapas-style holiday menu is a simple, yet fun option.  The folks at Yummly.com have some delicious recipes that include Turkey, Cranberry and Goat Cheese Crostini, and Stuffing Stuffed Mushrooms.  For dessert, there is no limit.  Mini pumpkin pies, cheesecakes, cookies and custards are just the beginning of the many choices available for bite-sized sweets.

So, if you are up for trying something different, tapas are a festive and unique way to enjoy your holiday meal.  But, just in case the meal doesn’t stick with you, keep a roasted turkey on-hand for those post-dessert cravings for seconds.  🙂

Best,
