Happy Friday!!

A few years ago the jumpsuit made a comeback in a big way, and the trend doesn’t seem to be cooling off, it is a classic look that will never go out of style—if done the right way.

The popularity in jumpsuits dates back to military personnel in the 20th century when they started using paratroopers in combat.  As time went on, the look found its way into women’s fashion of the late thirties and it hasn’t stopped evolving ever since.  Why should it?  It is a great ‘go-to’ outfit when in a pinch.

Going out for the evening?  A black shatung sateen jumpsuit with chunky gold accessories will be a great alternative to the LBD.   An afternoon at a picnic for two?  A cute linen short jumpsuit is sure to please.   Let’s not stop there.  The jumpsuit can even be a great choice for—you guessed it—a wedding! Non-traditional or more mature brides can rock this look in place of the gown, or for the reception. Hello, Solange Knowles-Ferguson?!

Ultimately, the jumpsuit is a wonderful option for when a dress or pantsuit doesn’t quite fit the bill. You can easily go from the office to the after-party with just a few quick changes in accessories and footwear.  The most important thing to remember is to have the right mixture of fabulousness and fun!
